Do any of you have a favorite Christmas recipe? I love to bake Christmas cookies. Last year I found a good recipe on the back of the Craisin bag for white chocolate, oatmeal, and cranberry cookies. I’ve been making those a bunch because they’re quick and save well. My kids love the brownie cookies on the back of the Hugs bag. They’re little brownie cookies with a Hug popped in the middle. Bliss!

Right now I’m excited about making the desserts for Christmas. A chocolate cake for Christmas Eve and an apple pie for Christmas Day. But I’m really struggling with our Christmas Eve dinner. I had hoped we could go out to eat before church but I haven’t been able to findĀ  a retaurant that is 1)open at 6:30…or 2) can seat our group of 12…and 3) is close to church.

sigh.

So, I guess that means I’ll be cooking on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Anyone have a good idea about what to make? I’m thinking maybe lasagna or soup is the way to go.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

I decided to have spaghetti on Christmas Day. I realized there is no rule I have to have ham (so not a turkey person). I ended up not eating all the Thanksgiving ham and that’s why I decided on spaghetti!
