I’m starting this week with a smile on my face. I’m going to Sugarcreek on Friday May 21! I can’t wait to see my Amish friends, look at quilts, and over course, partake in one of  my favorite activities…eat coconut cream pie at the Der Dutchman.

But the most exciting thing about my visit will be the book signings!

On Saturday, May 22, I’ll be signing books at the Gospel Bookstore in Sugarcreek from 11:00am to1:00pm. Then, I’ll head over to New Philadelphia, where I’ll be signing books at the Dayspring Christian Bookstore from 2-4pm. (143 West High Avenue New Philly, Ohio 44663)

If any of you are in the area and would like a signed copy of Spring’s Renewal, please stop by! I’d love to meet you! I also have all kinds of bookmarks, calendars, and pens. : )

Shelley,
I am also smiling because I get to come to Sugarcreek this weekend. I told my husband that I loved your books and that I would love to come to the booksigning to meet you. I haven’t been to Amish country for like 15 years, so it is long overdue. I am so excited to see the beautiful land, to shop, to eat lots of food and of course, meet you! See you this weekend!

Hi Shelley! We did have a very relaxing, fun time. We had some wonderful food and sampled a lot of cheese but no pie! We plan on going back soon with our kids and staying longer. It was so much fun meeting you. I’m sure that I will see you again at future booksignings. Next time, maybe I can bring all of the women in my family who also love your books1 I am reading Winter’s Awakening right now and I can’t put it down! God Bless You! Keri

Shelley says:

I just finished Winter’s Awakening a few minutes ago and thought it was a lovely story. I thoroughly enjoyed every page of it. I wish I had found the book and YOU sooner because I would have come to Sugarcreek. I live in Mansfield which you mentioned in the book. I go to Amish Country quite often since it’s not that far. I love finding books that take place in Ohio areas. Now I’m ready to pick up Spring’s Renewal and will be looking forward to Autumn’s Promise. Thanks for such good stories. Carol

Shelley says:

Oh Shannon, what a nice compliment. I’ll have to email you and get some ideas about where to go…any favorite bookstores in mind?

Shelley says:

Hi Carol,

thank you so much for giving my book a try. I’ll try to give y’all plenty of warning for my next trip to Sugarcreek. Right now, I’m planning to sign Autumn’s Promise and GRACE during the Swiss Festival in Sugarcreek in October. I’d love to meet you then, if you are able to stop by.

Shannon says:
