Hooray! I finished up the last of my Christmas cards this morning! When I taught school in Colorado, we had an October break. Without fail, I got my cards done then, and neatly boxed them up until December.
Now, though, I never start until after Thanksgiving. For some reason, I never get them completed very quickly. It’s probably because I’m never as organized as I hope to be! This year I had a box of photos, cute seals for the envelopes, Christmas stamps, my cards…the back up box of cards (I always run out), pens for the cards, pens for the envelopes. I’ve got them all in baskets. Yesterday, they were all spread out on our living room floor-what a mess!
One year, I’m going to order a photo card from Walgreens and be done with it!
Does anyone take the time to write a letter? I just love receiving them, but have never written a Christmas letter myself. I also love getting photos of every one’s kids.
Who has already sent out their cards?

I love getting the letters, too, or some sort of update at least. On the flip side, I don’t like writing them! Still need to send our cards out (and take the picture!). We’re behind this year–am jealous you already have yours mailed.
