In just one week, Winter’s Awakening will appear on the shelves. It sounds silly, but one of my favorite things to do is go to my neighborhood Barnes and Noble on Tuesdays and look at all the new books. Next Tuesday, I’ll look forward to sipping a vanilla latte and examining my newest release. : ) I’m so thankful to the readers who won advanced copies. Many have either emailed me or posted their reviews on websites. Just yesterday, I received a nice review from Genre Go Round Reviews. They said : The cast makes the book fresh as the four prime players mature during the entangled courtships. Fans will enjoy this fine entry as the Winter Awakening that stormed the hearts of Joshua and Gretta is becoming Spring’s Renewal.

February is sure to be a busy month. Winter’s Awakening will be making a ‘Blog Tour’! A few sites have asked for interviews and guest blogs, so I’m anxiously getting ready for those. In addition, I’ll be speaking to a MOPS group at church, and signing books with a whole host of authors at the Barnes and Noble in West Chester, Ohio on February 13.

Of course, I’m writing and writing, too. GRACE is coming together very well. I’m averaging 10-15 pages per day, which is a lot for me! This weekend, I’m also going to be tackling ‘lard cakes’. It’s another recipe from The Amish Cook. They sure don’t sound very appetizing, but I think they’re just like donuts! I’ll let you know how they turn out

~ Until next time, thanks for stopping by.

Good luck with your tour and book signings.

if your “lard cakes” turn out well please post the recipe. I’m interested in what they are like. I have Amish Friends and Amish Friends Volume 2 cookbooks but I couldn’t find anything labeled lard cakes in them.

I don’t cook much but I collect cookbooks and recipes.

Can’t wait to see you at B&N!
Congrats on the reviews too.
Blogging tours sound like fun – especially since you don’t have to leave your house in case there’s bad weather.
10-15 pages is a lot – my brain goes mushy after 5!
