Last week’s drawing were such a success, I thought I’d host another two drawings this week! Today’s winners will receive two of  Mary’s absolutely adorable potholders(Mary is Amish and made them at home, with help from her son), an Amish Tour bag, and a signed copy of one of my books! All you have to do to be entered is share your favorite Christmas story or book. Mine is A Christmas Memory by Truman Capote. I have a beautiful illustrated version and I love to read it every December.  Winners will be announced tomorrow.

I can only choose one? Well then, it’d have to be to be “Who is Coming to Our House?” — it’s a children’s book that was given to my daughter 3 years ago. But definite runner-up is The Crippled Lamb, An Amish Christmas and The Christmas Singing.

  12. My favoriet Christmas Story will come on Christmas day. I was able to bring my mom home from the nursing home the day before Thanksgiving, so she will be joining us this year at home instead of at the facility. It has been alot of hard work, but very nice to have her home.

I liked Shelley’s “Christmas In Sugarcreek”. I read it earlier this year and enjoyed it so much. I actually went to the Amish country this summer and stayed at a B&B in Adamstown, Pa.

  14. I love the movie as well as the book ” ANNIE” it shows how life can really be for some people, and children, and how they try to keep singing and smiling thru it all,
