Greetings from Marion, KY

Posted Mar 25 2012, 6:57 am

Yesterday, my husband and I hurried over to Marion for the book signing at Crittenden County Public Library, with just enough time to spare to dash into the Marion Cafe. When I told one of the ladies that we needed to grab a quick breakfast, she was more than helpful. Before we knew it, we had scrambled eggs, crispy bacon and biscuits and gravy. Yum!

Less than 15 minutes later, we were off to the library. Zach,  from Books a Million in Paducah, already had a stack of books and a cash register in the meeting room. Regina, the director of the library, had beautiful glass pitchers filled with water and lemonade, trays of cookies out, and candy, too! Everything looked wonderful.

There was also quite a crowd. Over fifty people! I chatted for a bit, read a few pages from MISSING, then signed books for over an hour. I loved meeting everyone, and was so grateful to all who took time out  of their busy Saturday to come see me.

I think I smiled the whole way home.

Thank you to everyone in Crittenden County who made my day so special!

With Regina Merrick and Mayor Alexander

I enjoy reading your books. This one “Missing” is holding my attention. I just came across something that may be a misprint on page 47 – 2nd line from the top – is this correct “nth” degree? Have a Blessed Day.

I just finished your book today. One of the Amish ladies at the Amish store wanted to read it. So, I took Missing to her to read. It is a great book. I’m ready for the next one:)
